Welcome to the Ameriquest MDL Settlement informational website.  This class action involves mortgage loans made or serviced by Ameriquest, Argent, or one of their affiliates on or after December 14, 2001. There are five classes of loans that are eligible to participate in the Settlement, each of which are described in further detail in the frequently asked questions. You are a Class Member if you fall into any one of the eligible classes. Payments to Class Members who submitted timely, valid claims were made on October 15, 2010.

Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago’s Foreclosure Prevention Counseling Services Are Now Available.

The foreclosure prevention counseling services provided by Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago (“NHS”) under the Settlement are now available to eligible Class Members who still have a loan originated by Ameriquest, regardless of what company is currently servicing your loan. You may access the foreclosure prevention counseling by contacting NHS at 1-866-690-8562. Counseling will be on a first come-first served basis until funding for the program is fully expended or until one year from the date of settlement approval, whichever is earlier. You may access this benefit whether or not you filed a claim form to receive a settlement check.  

Please note that NHS cannot answer questions about your settlement check or the Settlement Agreement.
